Gone to Grandma's House
The kids started their summer vacation without us and are spending the week at Grandma Ransom's house in Utah. It has been really weird to be childless for the last few days but a nice chance to relax and try to catch up on a few things not the least of being sleep. The kids are having a wonderful time and from as far as I can tell don't miss us one bit. While it is good to know they are happy and well adjusted kids who love their extended family it is a slight bruise to the ego. ;)

Ahhh...they do miss you they are just having too much fun to realize it right now! That is awesome that they love it there so much! Their baby cousin is sure cute, too! Can't wait ti see you all soon!
Celeste, Your kids are TRULY the CUTEST!! Your husband is going to have to get a rifle with all the boys that will come after you daughter, and you'll have to intimidate all those girls who come chasing after your son! LOL! Enjoy a week of serenity girl! I envy you right now!
Funny how that goes. Matthew didn't really miss his mom while she was in Utah for over a week (though he was excited to hear her voice on the phone). But every Sunday he cries because she isn't home when he wakes up. Never mind that she has been the relief society president since before he was born, so she's gone to that meeting every Sunday of his life. :s
